Our new Ecuador El Sauce is a vibrant single-origin coffee with a beautifully expressive fruit character. In the cup, it opens with bright notes of fresh strawberry and soft tropical sweetness, followed by a dessert-like finish that reminds us of strawberry shortcake, vanilla bean, and caramel.
As the roast develops, the fruit becomes deeper and more rounded, shifting from fresh berry into dried strawberry and stewed mixed fruit, while the sweetness grows richer and more comforting. A gentle citrus sparkle keeps the cup lively, balanced, and wonderfully complex.
This is the kind of coffee that feels a little celebratory, bright enough to catch your attention, sweet enough to keep you coming back, and layered enough to remind you why fresh-roasted single-origin coffee is such a treat. We do not offer this one in a dark roast. That would be criminal. Oh! This also makes fabulous cold brew.
